Mental Wealth and Financial Health

Making sure that we are healthy mentally is essential to our overall well-being. The question is how do we make sure that we are mentally wealthy? How do we properly observe our mental health? What steps do we take? How do we ensure that we are mentally healthy in the long run and not just for the moment?

Additionally, as we move into adulthood, questions around the topic of finance are always at the forefront of our minds, no matter our age. How do we achieve financial independence? What steps should we take to best set ourselves up to be financially successful in the future?

When it comes to mental health and finances, sometimes the best way to find answers is to start with the basics. That is why State of Success, Inc., would like to introduce a new program: Mental Wealth and Financial Health. This program will specifically address some of the questions and issues surrounding these two essential topics. We will focus on young students acknowledging and observing their own mental health and understanding the importance of discussing mental health and taking the right steps to maintain their mental wealth as they move into the future. We will also focus on properly understanding some of the real effects that social media has on our youth today.

As our high school students begin to prepare for their next stage of life, it is never too early to start thinking about setting themselves up for financial success. In this program, we will have an open discussion with students about understanding how finances work, how to manage checking and savings accounts, and a top-level seminar on budgeting.  We will talk to students about analyzing different levels of financial necessities, and how to prepare for unforeseen financial costs.

Mental Wealth and Financial Health is about providing our Monroe High School students with the necessary tools to be successful in these areas. As our students move into adulthood, it is important for them to establish strong foundations upon which they can build their futures. It is up to us, the community, to support them and equip them with the tools to weather the storm of challenges they may face in the future. Help us invest in the mental and financial success of our students.
