Sindey Minter

Sidney O. Minter is an employment lawyer for Advance Auto Parts.  In this role, Minter provides advice, counsel and risk management support to key stakeholders, including senior executives and human resources professionals.  Prior to working for Advance, Minter worked for three law firms—two of which are national  employment law boutique law firms.  

Professionally, Minter has been recognized for his skill as an attorney, as well as his work in the diversity and inclusion space.  Some of his awards include recognition by Business North Carolina as “Legal Elite in Employment Law,” Black Enterpriseas “BE Modern Man,” Charlotte Business Journal’s“40 Under 40,” “National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40,” North Carolina Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star in Labor and Employment” and Chamber and Partners’ “Future Leader- Minority Lawyers Award.” 

Outside of work, Minter is a dedicated father to his son, Elijah.  Minter is an avid reader (primarily autobiographies and memoirs), author and blogger.  He is also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
